Frequently
asked questions

It depends, of course (we're consultants). On how big your team and organisation is, where you're at and how far you want to go - and how badly we need the work! But let's anchor at £5,000 for a consultative framing exercise and £25,000 for a full change programme. One thing to be clear about: you're buying expertise, experience and clear deliverables, not time or guaranteed results.

It's going to be fun. It has to be. There's enough stress to be dealing with. We'll learn together, have a laugh, and make a difference - one way or another. You'll be working with someone who's walked a marathon in your shoes. Someone who's in your corner, helping you influence upwards and inspire and stretch those who look up to you for guidance and support.

We specialise in helping small data teams (typically between 3-15 people) working in mid-market companies and scale-ups. We get a kick out of helping people do more, not automating them out of a job. What our clients have in common is a bloated backlog, a desire to do more interesting, valuable work using new tools, and internal pressure to deliver more without adding headcount.

Not directly, but through associates and partners. It's important to note that programme costs do not include training delivery for your teams or end-users. We can help assess training needs and introduce partners that you can contract with directly. Our focus is on the people side of change: how to think and collaborate differently, work differently, and adopt new tools and techniques sustainably.

Absolutely, yes. But we find teams struggle to change themselves - and those that try, often get stuck. You'll find an outside perspective is invaluable - not to mention the focus, structure and accountability that comes from working with an external partner. We bring proven frameworks so you get there faster and have a better chance of getting it right first time (and you might only have one shot).

The primary factor influencing the success of any change programme is the commitment of the change sponsor. That's you. Leadership buy-in is important and we help directly with that. But your team want to hear from you, their manager - not some fancypants consultant - so your time and presence is non-negotiable. We'll make clear what's needed and when so you can plan around it.

But of course - we've got to chow down on that dogfood. We use AI and agents end-to-end to help with discovery, planning, research, scheduling and analysis. You'll get to interact with tools and workflows we've built for ourselves. We'll always be transparent about AI use and share the value created in terms of time saved and augmented outputs.

Engramic is derived from "engram," a term in neuroscience that refers to the physical trace of a memory in the brain. Our work is about creating enduring change in how teams think and work with AI - creating a capability to change continuously. Just as an engram represents a new way of encoding information, we help teams build new mental models, skills and workflows that help encode change.
